One of the first new individuals is a "real" sales person. Frequently this person is full of energy and enthusiasm however because of the risk and compensation offered by new companies, the first sales people come with little or no real experience at creating and managing a sales funnel.

The founder continues to sell investors on the companies revenue potential, and time slicing smaller allotments of time for the sales person charged with actually making these revenue forecasts.
